Scout Labs was the first social media analytics solution for marketers. As head of design and UX, I led the team that designed every aspect of the product as well as the public website.

Scout Labs enabled marketers to monitor how any topic was performing across the social media landscape, through combinations of keywords that users would choose. Then the platform algorithm would weigh these dynamically, reference synonyms, suggest related concepts, etc.

Performance metrics for a topic included things like buzz, velocity, growth, and sentiment. Scout Labs also provided visibility into the actual content that people posted and shared, as well as adjacent topics, and more.
