Rippleworks / Shamiri Health

Independent Product Consulting | 2024 – Present

Rippleworks has cultivated a network of experts to help high-impact social organizations scale and succeed. I joined the Rippleworks network and linked up with Shamiri Health, a Kenya-based nonprofit that is making mental healthcare accessible to underserved youth.

In a pro bono consulting capacity, I helped Shamiri build out their road map, focusing on how they could leverage AI to improve operations and scale efficiently. We targeted various bottlenecks where AI would reduce costs, such as summarizing session transcriptions, processing feedback, and more. And we also identified ways that AI could help drive both consistency and quality in their operations.

Finally, I spent time coaching the Shamiri team on best practices and some useful frameworks, including Jobs-To-Be-Done, RICE, and Kano, and led workshops designed to help the team deliver as effectively as possible as they accelerate and grow.
