OK, it’s not strictly true to say I made 22 iPhone apps. I work at Kyte, with one of the best engineering teams on the planet, and we launched 22 iPhone apps last week on the Kyte iPhone app framework. You might have heard about it on TechCrunch. Apps for the likes of MTV, NBA, UMG (Lady Gaga, Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, No Doubt and a bunch more). Not all of them are in the iTunes store yet, but they’re trickling in.

From Kyte’s perspective, the iPhone apps are just another client for Kyte media content and the various add-ons (twitter and RSS readers, downloads module, etc.) we support. Like the customizable Kyte Flash players, the iPhone apps need to be readily skinnable.
